It's our annual Spring Plant Sale this weekend. All of our Hanging Baskets and Fancy Annuals are 20% off. Bedding annuals and vegetable plants are $1.50 for a four pack! Our heirloom tomatoes are also ready and can't be beat for taste!!
We will be open Sat 11am to 9pm with Chef Seth David Roth selling beautiful Spring soups and salads from 5pm to 9pm...you must come by for a taste! (Sunday 12 to 5)

After a year of hard work and collaborated effort, the Log House is finished and the studio is up and running!
It was about a year ago that the Logs arrived from a Log House that originally stood in Wabash Indiana in 1840. Bill Shwantz laid the concrete slab first then Craig and Tad Van Valin began placing the logs on top. The logs were numbered when they were dismantled in Wabash so it was like putting a puzzle together (or Lincoln Logs!).
The rafters for the roof and porch were reclaimed from a Wisconsin barn and covered with cedar shingles. Tad and Craig are amazing craftsmen, this project never would have happened without their expertise.
Jamey and I finished the interior. Jamey's carpentry is amazing! I assisted with the interior chinking and painting. Bill built a brick chimney and we installed a wood stove to heat us through the winter.
Many thanks to everyone who helped this dream Studio come true. I still can't believe it happened and I smile every time I see it. :))

Well...the interior of the Log Home (Studio) still has a lot to go. We are working on the upstairs window trim, the downstairs doors and floors. Next we will decide about the wall for the stairs and then paint all the interior wood and then do the chinking inside. It's got another month at least....but we are so excited! I have all the interior furniture picked out and ready to decorate!!
I am so pleased with my NEW DiPaolo line at Primitives by Kathy. The showroom in Atlanta was beautiful! Each piece is wonderfully produced with rough pine and tin accents, carefully painted to match each of my designs!
The collection includes characters and pieces for each season!
Certified International had a wonderful window display of my NEW Family Table collection. I had a fabulous time on Saturday signing pieces from this collection. Thank you to everyone that journeyed up to the 17th floor to meet me! I had so much fun!

We had a very busy and eventful time at the Gift Mart. Full of meetings to prepare for 2012 product line designs as well as preparations for the shop Fried Green Tomatoes. We also found several pieces to add to the Log Home studio! 2011 has started with a "bang" and I'm thrilled with all the opportunities for the DiPaolo brand!
