Hello friends; my dear friend Honey Lazar who is the Author-Photographer of Loving Aunt Ruth, is launching her book tomorrow. Honey and I first met in Cleveland Ohio many, many years ago. I cherish her friendship and just want to share her incredible stories and talent with you!
Hello everyone! Well I finally sat down to update my blog. I have been so busy in the studio and tending to the animals on the farm. It has been such a COLD winter...all I do is chop wood to keep the darn wood stove burning. I probably have 5 layers of clothing on right now....including mittens and 4 pairs of socks! LOL!
Lately I'm just enjoying time in the studio, working the farm and baking whenever I can.
I did have a small "warm up" break when I attended the annual Atlanta Gift Mart mid January. It was so nice to catch up with my good friends in between my meetings at the Mart. Lots of laughs!
The show was a big success and I'm so excited about my future products hitting the stores!

The shop is open this weekend, October 5th & 6th, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 until 5:00. We have Halloween items, fresh eggs and other goodies.
Chef Jacklyn Trimble will be cooking a delicious Fall meal so stop by and have lunch or an early dinner.
The menu is:
Succulent Farm Fresh Fall Ratatouille over Roasted Spaghetti Squash,
Freshly baked Rolls from Wild Flour Bakery with an garlic herb whipped Amish Butter served with Ela's Orchard Homemade Apple Cider ($12 per plate)
AND, I am sad to say that we will not have a Christmas sale this year. We are sorry to disappoint all of you who come each year but work and travel prevent us from hosting it this year. SO, this will be our last weekend for 2013. We have a limited amount of Christmas items for sale this weekend including Christmas cards and gift Calendars. Please let your friends know of this schedule change.

Coming up in October... If you loved our Christmas dinner in the Log House last November, you'll love our Harvest Dinner in the Barn on October 4.
Chef Jaclyn will prepare a wonderful, locally sourced Harvest Meal starting at 6:00 in the evening. Reservations are required. Music will start at 6:30. We will send an email with all the details in a week or so... Celebrate locally grown food prepared with love!
