Log Home Update

Well...the interior of the Log Home (Studio) still has a lot to go. We are working on the upstairs window trim, the downstairs doors and floors. Next we will decide about the wall for the stairs and then paint all the interior wood and then do the chinking inside. It's got another month at least....but we are so excited! I have all the interior furniture picked out and ready to decorate!!

Atlanta Gift Mart 2011

I am so pleased with my NEW DiPaolo line at Primitives by Kathy. The showroom in Atlanta was beautiful! Each piece is wonderfully produced with rough pine and tin accents, carefully painted to match each of my designs!

The collection includes characters and pieces for each season!

Certified International had a wonderful window display of my NEW Family Table collection. I had a fabulous time on Saturday signing pieces from this collection. Thank you to everyone that journeyed up to the 17th floor to meet me! I had so much fun!

Sunset Vista Designs continues to expand the DiPaolo tin garden collection with several NEW pieces for 2011, including Farmer's Market!

We had a very busy and eventful time at the Gift Mart. Full of meetings to prepare for 2012 product line designs as well as preparations for the shop Fried Green Tomatoes. We also found several pieces to add to the Log Home studio! 2011 has started with a "bang" and I'm thrilled with all the opportunities for the DiPaolo brand! Our Feast!!

Just wanted to share a couple photos from our Thanksgiving Feast. We had such a fabulous day with our friends and family! I loved preparing the turkey and some wonderful side dishes that everyone loved!

Christmas Openhouse

Join us from Nov 19th to 21st for our Christmas Open house.

It's our last event of the year featuring special baked treats, our handmade Christmas pieces made of tin and wood, mixed fresh greenery of wreaths & garland, our own blend of handmade Christmas potpourri and many of my Licensed products from the DiPaolo line.

We are also thrilled to have Seth David Roth, former corporate chef to Oprah Winfrey cooking up something delicious for this special event!

Our Artist Gathering 2010!

This past weekend was a weekend I will never ever forget. The opportunity to be in the same place at the same time with all of my creative friends was overwhelming. I still can't believe it happened and I keep smiling as I recall conversations and silly moments and hugs.

Artist Licensing Event

I'm looking forward to November 5th and 6th when 28 talented artists and friends arrive for our Licensing event!

John Sloan and his wife Maryann, Ellen and Bill Stouffer, Shelly Reeves Smith, Sueellen Ross, Nita Showers, Eric Fausnacht, Rena Askey, Amy Faldet, Sherri Buck Baldwin, Yvonne Moroni, Ned and Melanie Young, Robin Davis, Paula Joerling, Jamey Berger and myself will meet at a local cafe for dinner on Friday night. On Saturday, we welcome the Team from Legacy Publishing, Cathleen and Carlos Llanso as well as the team from Sunset Vista Designs, Philip Wong, Raymond Chan and Angela Reinhardt. We will present portfolios, learn about social media from Robin Davis and have a fabulous day!

This is the first time our entire group will meet in one place at one time! I don't know how we can possibly squeeze any more talent into one room!
Our group formed when I resigned as Creative Director of LANG several years ago. We support each other in licensing, networking and friendship. I can't imagine doing it alone... these are extraordinary, amazing, talented friends!

I can't wait!!! I promise to post lots of pictures from the event!

Trixie's Treats begins this Friday night!

Our Annual Halloween Party, Trixie's Treats, begins this Friday night!

Join us this Friday 6:00 till 9:00 in the barn.
Neil Gebel "no Cigars" will start playing at 6:00. Cindy's award winning Pumpkin muffins and cookies will be available for purchase. All Halloween and Fall items in the Barn are 25% off including our signature hand-made Folk Art designs. More vendors will be around selling their goods as well!

We are open Saturday and Sunday also, 11:00 till 5:00 (for those of you traveling from Chicago)

There are Pumpkins, gourds and mums galore... Mums are 3 for $20.00 (2 gallon pots). Home grown Potpourri is 25% off.

Libation and yummy treats will be served.
